SINGING SOLICITOR HAS FIRST HOME GIG.

One of Cork’s most talented singer/songwriter packed the Everyman Palace Theatre last weekend for his first-ever home concert.
Despite being in the business for many years and releasing six CD’s, Gerald O’Flynn had never performed a concert of this size in his home town of Cork before.
“For many years I was building up my solicitor’s practice and wasn’t able to devote enough time to my music”, explained Gerald who is from the Rochestown Road.
“And now I have the time to give to it. The Everyman concert was brilliant and much more than what I had expected. There was 625 people as it and the rapport with the crowd was great. It was a great night,” added Gerald, who has also preformed in front of US President George Bush in the White House. Describing his music as romantic love songs mixed with some Irish trad and folk, Gerald’s songs can also be heard on all Aer Lingus trans-atlantic flights as in-flight enterntainment.
One the night of the Everyman concer, as well as singing some well-known songs in his own unique style, Gerald also performed a number of self-penned songs from his latest album Where Do We Go From Here.
Know as the singing solicito, Gerald O’Flynn is now planning to spend more time on his first love, music, and is planning to tour Ireland as well as the US and Australia next year for the rugby World Cup.
